The Articulated Wall

Many a folk know exactly what this is; "that big yellow thing". To be more specific it is Herbert Bayer's Articulated Wall located in Denver's Design District. Bayer, originally from Austria called Colorado home for a good part of his life making him one of the most internationally know artist Colorado can seriously bro down with. Bayer is most known for his work in the Bauhaus school of art and worked in many medias. The Articulated wall is a replica of the original wall he built for the 1968 Olympic games in Mexico City (only taller). You can see many more examples of Bayer's diverse art and styles on the lower level of Denver Art Museum's Hamilton Building. Go check it out up close.
